Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Program

Maryland's WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) Program is a federal assistance program that provides nutrition education, healthy food, and support to low-income pregnant women, new mothers, infants, and young children up to the age of five.

The WIC Clinic will be closed on Thursday, December 19th at both the Glen Burnie and Annapolis locations.

  • If you are already enrolled in WIC, bring your proof of identity or your WIC ID Folder to all appointments.
  • Each woman and child MUST be present if applying for WIC.
  • Maryland WIC also provides referrals to other health and social services agencies

The Anne Arundel County Department of Health's WIC Program supports, promotes and protects breastfeeding for babies and their families. Anne Arundel County WIC has a breastfeeding peer counselor and an international board certified lactation consultant (IBCLC) available Monday through Friday to assist WIC's breastfeeding families.
