Food Protection Program and Food Service Facilities

The Housing and Food Protection Program is responsible for the licensing and/or inspection of all food service facilities (restaurants, grocery stores, bars, mobile food trucks, and bed and breakfasts), and investigates complaints concerning food facilities.

The Department of Health inspects Anne Arundel County and City of Annapolis restaurants and other food service facilities routinely to monitor the sanitary and physical conditions at each establishment. Inspection reports are posted on this website monthly.
