Hours: 32.5 hours per week

Job Description

Nature of Work:

Conduct hearing and vision screenings for children in Anne Arundel County Schools in accordance with the vision and hearing guidelines and focusing on community school needs. Responsible for maintaining records, filing and preparing correspondence. Transport, maintain, set up, remove, and operates vision and hearing equipment. Record vision and hearing results accurately and neatly. Prepare correspondence and statistics. Work professionally with school staff and parent volunteers. Maintain confidentiality of information. Assist in preparing screening calendar for the school year. Participate in training. Other duties as assigned.

Valid Maryland driver’s license and transportation required. Proficiency with data entry and clerical work. Desire and ability to work with students pre-K-12th grade.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalency (GED)
