Hours: 40 hours per week, 12 - 15 weeks, May - August

Job Description

Nature of Work:

Under the supervision of an Environmental Health Specialist, summer students will be hired to work in the Environmental Health Bureau. Duties will include water sampling, data analysis and sanitary surveys. Training will be provided to perform these functions, as well as other duties, including telephone communications, paperwork and other office duties. Requires daily travel throughout Anne Arundel County. Must have their own vehicle. Students will work 40 hours per week for 12-15 weeks, from mid-May to August.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: 

High School Diploma or Equivalency (GED).

Experience:

College students with an Environmental Health, Environmental Science, Biology or other science concentration are encouraged to apply.

License or Certification:

Driver's license.
