Job Description
Nature of Work: Responsible for overseeing the Opioid Misuse Prevention Program (OMPP) initiative including the implementation of the Academic Detailing strategy, naloxone trainings with prevention messaging and implementation of the Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF) model including needs assessment, capacity building, strategic planning, implementation and evaluation. Requires travel throughout Anne Arundel County for assigned program activities as needed. Must provide their own transportation, possess a driver’s license valid in Maryland and will receive reimbursement for official travel expenses per Department of Health policies. |
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in public health or similar field from an accredited college or university. |
Experience: Minimum two years experience working in public health or a similar field; experience working with health care providers and pharmacists; public speaking experience; experience writing formal reports and developing educational materials; experience with strategic planning and evaluation; excellent and situation-appropriate oral and written communication skills. |
