Department of Health Announces Request for Interest Cannabis Needs Assessment

The Anne Arundel County Department of Health (AACDOH) is seeking to identify a Maryland-based vendor who is able to support the development and implementation of a Cannabis Needs Assessment of cannabis use in Anne Arundel County adults age 21 and older. The primary deliverable of this contract and process will be a final report of the needs assessment that identifies high-risk populations, evidence-based programs, public health priority areas and methods for developing an equitable response to cannabis use in the community.

The results of the needs assessment and final report should be completed by early September 2024 and will be used to develop authentic public health messaging to promote the safe use and storage of cannabis, as well as other priority areas identified by the needs assessment.

Interested organizations shall submit an application to the AACDOH's Behavioral Health Behavioral Bureau as described in the Request for Interest (RFI) completed applications and supporting documentation should be submitted to bh.community.grants@aacounty.org.

  • Pre-bid Meeting (optional): May 3, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Register Online
  • Applications Due: May 31, 2024 by 5:00 p.m.
