Medical Coverage for Families

Need health insurance for your family? The Medical Assistance for Families/MCHP program provides comprehensive medical coverage to income-eligible families, children and pregnant women through managed care organizations (MCOs). See Medical Assistance for Families/Maryland Children’s Health Program.

Health Care for Uninsured Adults

The REACH health care program is for uninsured adults ages 19-64. REACH offers County residents low-cost doctor visits, checkups, prescription medicine, lab work and tests, radiology services and dental services. See REACH (Residents Access to a Coalition of Health).

Free Breast Exams, Mammograms and Pap Tests

For County residents who are 40 and older, uninsured or have insurance that does not cover mammograms or Pap tests, and are income eligible. See Breast and Cervical Cancer Program.

Prescription Savings Program

Save an average of 37 percent on prescription medications, as well as discounts on vision care, hearing care, diabetes care, pet medication and supplies. The Prescription Savings Program is open to all County residents and has no income requirements or age restrictions. See Prescription Savings Program
