The Department of Health wants to improve the health and well-being of parents, parents-to-be and infants in the county. Working with local hospital, healthcare, and community partners, the Health Department established a Maternal and Infant Health Task Force to develop a strategic plan for improving health outcomes. As part of this work, the Department wants to hear from those with lived experience of pregnancy, childbirth, or loss. We invite Black women and members of their support networks to join the Council to share their experiences and be a part of local solutions.
