Annapolis, MD (06/23/2025) – The Department of Health has issued a public health advisory for the headwaters of Weems Creek to Ridgley Avenue due to a sewage spill.The Department of Health advises against swimming, waterskiing and other direct water contact. The public health advisory is in effect for 7 days.
The Department of Health posted public health advisory signs to let the public know about the advisory. People coming in contact with the affected water are advised to wash well with soap and warm water immediately. Clothing should also be washed.
