Bureau of School Health and Support, School Health Services, Contractual, 10 Month Positions, Open and Continuous
Under the supervision of the appropriate School Health Nurse, this position performs a variety of health related maintenance duties as indicated by the health profile of students needing assistance during the school day. Responsibilities may include a variety of health tasks and clerical work in assisting students with health related needs. Nature of work involves lifting, positioning, transferring, and aiding in bodily functions as needed.
Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
- Candidates must successfully complete a Board approved Certified Medication Technician training program provided by the Anne Arundel County Department of Health.
- Candidates must successfully complete a Board approved Certified Nursing Assistant/Certified Medication Technician training program provided by the Anne Arundel County Department of Health.
Driver’s License Required
