Department of Health Seeks Grant Applications from Community and
Faith-Based Organizations to provide Recovery Housing for Men with Children
The Anne Arundel County Department of Health Bureau of Behavioral Health is seeking community and faith-based organizations to provide Recovery Housing for Men with Children. Grant funds of up to $302,000, including up to $200,000 in start-up funds and $34.00 per day, per bedroom for up to 10 men for 365 days will be awarded to implement Recovery Housing for Men with full, partial or shared custody of at least one child aged 0-5 in Anne Arundel County. Grants will be awarded through a competitive process.
The successful applicant will provide housing that allows individuals to sustain sobriety while working towards achieving fully independent living, is close to public transportation and complies with conditions of award, as described in the Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA).
Applicants are encouraged to attend the pre-application virtual workshop on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. which will be held via Zoom.
Interested Anne Arundel County behavioral health providers shall apply to the AACDOH’s Bureau of Behavioral Health as described in the Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA). Completed applications and supporting documentation should be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday, September 30, 2022 at 3:00 p.m.
