Job Description
Nature of Work: Plans, directs, manages, coordinates and monitors the overall operations of the Community Case Management Program. Provides the supervision of the Community Case Management staff, consistently monitoring and evaluating the work assignments, case files, service referrals and provision of resources for clients to ensure appropriate, effective and economical utilization. Serves as liaison and provides clinical and technical assistance to the Judiciary, the State’s Attorney’s Office, Office of the Public Defender, Detention Center Staff, Parole and Probation and coordinating services, determining appropriateness of treatment, service referrals and drug test methods. |
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health field from an accredited college or university. |
Experience: Two years providing behavioral health services to individuals with substance use disorders. Two years in clinical/administrative supervision and development (can be substituted with two additional years of providing services to individuals with SUD). Two years providing case-management services. Experience interacting clinically with agencies and other service providers. |
Desired or Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge and experience in working with individuals with criminal justice involvement. Independently licensed by the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors or the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners (LCSW-C, LMSW, LCPC, LCADC, LGADC, LGPC). Approved supervisor with the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapist. |
