Salary: $16.50 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
Benefits: Participation in the County’s group health plan (including dental, prescription and optical), paid holidays, annual and sick leave. The selected employee may also participate in the County’s deferred compensation program at his or her own expense.
Job Description
Nature of Work: Administrative/Clerical duties within the Office of Human Resources. Assists the School Health Human Resources Officer and HR Specialist with clerical duties. Duties include but are not limited to: preparing onboarding documents for new hires, setting up appointments, assisting with the onboarding process including coordinating appointments with the employee Health Nurse and the Board of Education Finger-printing Department; prepare and send exit interview information; create and update a daily log of transactions; data entry (database management and input into HRIS); audit employee files; type; photocopy; alphabetize; file; answer phone calls and fax as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Graduation from a standard high school or possession of a state high school equivalency certificate
Experience: At least 1-2 years of general office/administrative experience
Desired or Preferred Qualifications: Experience with computer applications such as Google Suite, Word and Excel. Experience in an HR setting.
