Job Description
Nature of Work: Works with families by implementing the Parents As Teachers (PAT) model, which emphasizes parent-child interaction, development-centered parenting and family well-being. Utilizing the PAT Foundational Curriculum in culturally sensitive ways, partners, facilitates and reflects with families. Implements the curriculum in the home through ongoing home visits to promote and foster the healthy development of children. |
Minimum Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalency (GED) |
Experience: At least three years of experience in a home visiting program, or community-based programs working with young children and families OR possession of an associate degree from an accredited college with at least two years of experience in a home visiting program, or community-based programs working with young children and families OR possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in education, social work, psychology or a related field, with at least six months to one year of experience in a home visiting program, or community-based programs working with young children and families. |
Desired or Preferred Qualifications: Spanish-speaking desired but not required. |
