Job Description
Nature of Work: Under the supervision of the ACC Supervisor, provide full performance level education and coordination of health care services for Medicaid eligible/pending recipients in Anne Arundel County. Verify Medical Assistance (MA) coverage or assist the client with applying for MA coverage, and provide the client with MA/HealthChoice education, navigation, assistance with access to care, and appropriate community resources. Accurately enter client data, maintain client records per Maryland Department of Health guidelines, and compile and submit required reports. |
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, education, counseling or a related field from an accredited college or university. |
Experience: None |
License or Certification: None |
Desired or Preferred Qualifications: Some knowledge of Medical Assistance/HealthChoice policies. |
