|Nature of Work: Lead, plan, schedule and coordinate the Local Opioid Intervention Team and other cross sector public health collaborations. Assist with the development and update of jurisdictional strategic plans related to opioids, suicide prevention and other cross sector initiatives. Convene a broad range of stakeholders including county and state agencies, colleges and universities, community members, private organizations and others to advance the work. Draft policy statements and documents. Track, update and maintain project requirements, documentation, issues and funding; and support all other project deliverables. Use skills, experiences and content knowledge to develop, plan, implement, monitor, evaluate and promote programmatic work and ensure completion of program deliverables. Complete programmatic reports by developing content, analyzing data and synthesizing project activities. Support the identification of and application for additional funding to support the designated areas of work. Facilitate meetings and exercises, such as fishbone analysis, SWOT and PESTLE. Maintain situational awareness of research, policies and practices relevant to assigned areas. Develop presentations, scientific posters and exhibits to share and promote project findings at professional and public meetings and conferences. Other related duties as assigned.|
|Education: Bachelor’s degree in public administration, health care administration, behavioral health, social work, psychology or other related field OR master’s degree in one of the fields listed from an accredited college or university.|
|Experience: Demonstrated experience with strategic planning, public speaking and meeting facilitation. Understanding of complex public health related issues. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to accomplish objectives.|
|Notes: Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of related professional work experience OR master’s degree and one year of related experience.|
