COVID-19 Vaccinations by Race/Ethnicity and Week
The following chart shows the percent of vaccinations by race/ethnicity by week. Because White residents (in purple) make up such a high percentage of vaccinations, their data are shown on their own axis to the right to allow the trends in the other racial/ethnic categories to be visualized more easily.
Because the population age distribution varies across race/ethnicity and not all age groups have been eligible for vaccination, differences in vaccination rate over time are expected. As more groups are added in, like adults 65 years and older, the demographics change to better reflect the demographics of the groups being prioritized.
COVID-19 Vaccinations by Race/Ethnicity and Vaccination Provider
The following chart shows the vaccinations by race/ethnicity in the top 10 vaccine providers in Anne Arundel County in the past two week. The data only includes vaccinations done for Anne Arundel County residents and not necessarily the total vaccinations done by each provider. Part of the difference in the number of vaccinations given by each provider is the number of vaccines each provider is allocated. Currently, local health departments and the mass vaccination sites are allocated the greatest number of vaccines followed by pharmacies and hospitals.
