Job Description
| Nature of Work:
Under the supervision of the Program Supervisor, conduct anti-tobacco and diabetes activities. Activities include conducting youth-based anti-tobacco education and establishing, recruiting and enrolling participants in diabetes programs. Duties include, but are not limited to, assisting staff, community partners and program participants with interpreting and translation services and attending community outreach events. Required to have a personal vehicle available for use with mileage reimbursement provided per Department of Health policies and will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator’s license valid in Maryland. |
Minimum Qualifications
| Education: High School Diploma or Equivalency (GED). |
| Experience:
Experience with community outreach is preferred. |
| Desired or Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to communicate fluently, both verbally and written, in English and Spanish. |
