Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., 40 hours per week
Salary: Registered Nurse $32.57 per hour or Licensed Practical Nurse $25.38 per hour
Benefits: Participation in the County’s group health plan including prescription, dental, and optical, paid holidays and sick leave. Optional deferred compensation program at employee’s own expense.

Job Description

Nature of Work: The Wellmobile provides on demand access to buprenorphine virtually and on site operating out of a mobile unit that is stationed throughout Anne Arundel County. Screen, assess and monitor patients obtaining low threshold buprenorphine treatment from the Wellmobile. Coordinate care for individuals seeking treatment while providing education, case management and resources to those seeking services. Assist in transition to community treatment and provide follow up care and connection post discharge. Duties also include performance monitoring activities, including required timely and accurate data reporting as well as participating in all training and consultation required.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Associate degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Experience with substance use disorder screenings and medications used in the treatment of opioid use disorders. Ability to manage competing demands. Posses strong critical thinking and interpersonal skills.
License or Certification: Current Licenced Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse from the Maryland State Board of Nursing
Desired or Preferred Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and one year of experience as an LPN may be substituted for the required education. Two years of experience as an LPN may be substituted for the required education.
