Salary: $20.70 per hour
Benefits: Participation in the County’s group health plan (including prescription, dental, and optical). Paid holiday, annual leave and sick leave. The selected employee may also participate in the County’s deferred compensation program at his or her own expense.
Nature of Work: This position serves as the gatekeeper for Recovery Housing for Women and Children Program, and it is responsible for providing comprehensive coordination of behavioral health services and recovery support for the women and children served in this program. The coordinator works to engage families in recovery-oriented care planning to support long-term positive outcomes in recovery. This position will carry an assigned caseload and will deliver services and maintain accurate and timely documentation, prepare and provide accurate reports, and submit data in an accurate and timely manner. Core hours for the position are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Education: An associate’s degree in the human services field.
Experience: Two years of case management experience working with the guiding principles of recovery that assists individuals to improve their health, wellness, live a self-directed life and reach their full potential. Must have knowledge and experience working with individuals who have substance use or co-occurring disorders.
Desired or Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Anne Arundel County’s behavioral health system of care and resources. Experience working with other agencies and treatment providers.
