Location: 3 Harry S. Truman Parkway, Annapolis, MD 21401
Salary: $20 – $25 per hour
Benefits: Participation in the county’s group health plan (including dental, optical and prescription), paid holidays, annual and sick leave. The selected employee may also participate in the county’s deferred compensation program at his or her own expense.
Nature of Work: To develop and implement a network of buprenorphine services within the county and integrate all service providers (including psychiatrists, primary care providers, treatment providers, etc.) into a functional continuum of network. This position will conduct outreach, education and technical assistance to community primary care providers and behavioral health providers. Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. May require some evening hours.
Education: A bachelor’s degree in nursing, public health community psychology or related field from an accredited college or university.
Experience: One to two years of experience with developing community partnerships and developing, implementing and evaluating policies, systems and environmental change interventions.
