Hours: Monday – Friday, 5:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. |
Salary: $40,000 – $57,000 |

Job Description
Nature of Work:
Under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor, will provide direct counseling services to individuals receiving treatment under the Road to Recovery Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) who are incarcerated at the Jennifer Road Detention Center. |
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in socioogy, addictions counseling, health and human services, social work or related field from an accredited college or university. Master’s degree in counseling or social work from an accredited college or university. |
Experience:
Working with individuals on Medication in the treatment of Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) as evidenced by employment history; having an understanding and knowledge about the pharmacotherapeutic medications used to treat opioid use disorder; conducting screenings and assessments for substance use disorder treatment with an understanding of American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) levels of care and Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM)-5 diagnostic criteria for Opioid Use Disorder. |
License or Certification:
Good standing as a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Graduate Counselor (LGPC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Certified (LCSW-C) is preferred. Certification by the Board of Professional Counselors as a CAC-AD, CSC-AD and ADT will be considered. |
Desired or Preferred Qualifications:
Experience providing counseling to individuals with substance use disorders (SUD) in an OTP setting or other SUD treatment setting is preferred. |
