Job Description
Nature of Work:
Assist in the planning, preparation, compilation and monitoring of grants awarded to the Anne Arundel County Department of Health and other local, state and federal government agencies. Also assist with expenditure tracking, preparing forms, reports and other related tasks. |
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited college or university. |
Experience:
One year examining, analyzing and interpreting accounting systems, records and reports by applying generally accepted accounting principles. |
Desired or Preferred Qualifications:
Skilled in using computerized fiscal applications and software, including spreadsheet software and database applications. Skilled in preparing, analyzing and interpreting financial reports and statements. Knowledge of generally accepted auditing standards. |
