Young Men's Health Services
The Anne Arundel County Department of Health provides services to young men up to 24 years of age through the Healthy Teens and Young Adults Program.

Services include:

  • Physical examinations and high school sports physicals
  • Counseling on sexual health and general health topics
  • Counseling, testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, including chlamydia, gonorrhea, hepatitis and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)
  • Education on birth control methods
  • Medical social work services
  • Vaccines: hepatitis B; HPV** (human papillomavirus); measles, mumps and rubella**; and Tdap** (tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis)
    **If under 18 years old, patients need parent's consent for these vaccines.
  • Referrals for additional services, as needed

Fees for services are on a sliding scale based on family income and size. Medical Assistance and participating insurance plans are accepted. Services are not denied to those unable to pay. Donations are accepted.
