Hours: 40 hours per week

Job Description

Nature of Work:

Serves as a key fiscal and administrative support role for the Opportunity for Recovery Funding (ORF) and Crisis Stabilization Services programs. Responsible for managing program expenditures, processing admission paperwork for authorizations and reauthorizations, and ensuring accurate data entry and reporting within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and ORF database. Requires a strong understanding of fiscal procedures, attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with program staff.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: 

High School Diploma or Equivalency (GED).

Experience:

  • Minimum: Two years in fiscal support, administrative support or a related field. Experience with data entry and database management.
  • Preferred: Three to five years in fiscal management or administrative support within a healthcare or social services setting. Experience working with Electronic Health Records systems, authorization and reauthorization processes for healthcare or social service programs, and grant-funded programs.

Notes:

Must have a personal vehicle available for travel to perform work duties and a current Maryland driver’s license with a clear driving record.

Desired or Preferred Qualifications:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace, particularly Excel (for financial data analysis and reporting). Knowledge of basic accounting principles. Understanding of data privacy and confidentiality regulations (e.g., HIPAA). Ability to learn and adapt to new software and database systems. Degree in business administration, accounting, finance or a related field.
