Community Trauma and Resiliency Trainings

The Health Department is sponsoring a training series for community members, non-profit and community organizations, and government agencies. Attendees of the training will better understand causes and responses to community trauma and resilience.

Part 1 defines community trauma and provides skills and strategies to intervene, heal and build upon communities to be safer and healthier.

Part 2 is for those who attended a session in summer 2023 or spring 2024. It builds on those skills and knowledge to cover trauma-informed community building, defines resilience and covers action planning.
