Routine immunizations for children and adults are available at area health centers by appointment and at scheduled walk-in clinics Monday through Friday. Immunizations are free, but donations up to $10 are appreciated.

Community health workers provide intervention and support to parents of immunization delayed infants and young children via home visits, phone calls and community outreach. Community health workers follow up on referrals received from private health care providers, county agencies and other Department of Health programs. Educational materials regarding vaccine-preventable diseases are also provided to county residents and health care providers.
